µTorrent Releases A Mac Version
November 28, 2008
If you are a torrent lover and Mac user there is good news for you. µTorrent has released a Mac version in beta. The lightweight µTorrent client for Windows was first publicly released in September 2005, and was acquired by BitTorrent in 2006, which continued development on the application and promised to release a Mac version. It has now arrived, but as Torrent freak points out, the Mac release only runs on Leopard/Intel Macs at the moment and may still contain serious bugs. As the Alternatives for torrent client you can use Vuze (formerly Azureus) and Transmission.
