The Ducati Model 271 is so famous that Baydan rename them as “The Bush Shoe” or “Bye, Bye, Bush.”

Baydan has received orders for 300,000 pairs of the shoes since the attack, which is more than four times the average annual sales of the shoe. He indicated he has received an order for 4,000 pairs from a U.S. company while normally sold markets including Iraq, Iran, Syria and Egypt.
